But there was one small thing we wanted to modify and that is the BA15s R10W 24V filament lamp, which we really want to replace with LED lighting!
The search for a suitable lamp was not quite so simple, because the polarity of the BA15s bayonet socket is rather unusual and the length of the LED lamp must not be too long. Therefore we chose a 2W BA15 6000K LED lighting with 12-24V ACDC operation.

… new 2W LED lamp purely and we have already saved 8 watts and that with significantly higher luminous efficiency!
The new 2W LED lamp is said to be equivalent to the brightness of a 40W lamp – let’s put it this way, it is in any case significantly brighter than the originally installed BA15s R10W lamp.
