We definitely had a lot of fun DIYing again to create the new centerpiece of the Smarthome control panel. We have the J-Wall now already several months in operation and have only once missed a power button to restart the tablet, otherwise we are with the J-Wall center wishful happy!
Of course, one important part is still missing and that is the appropriate Smarthome software. Which apps are best to use for the Smarthome and what we finally installed to enable a sensible 24/7 operation of the tablet with constant, dim lighting and how to best manage to hide unnecessary buttons and the status bar in Android without root, we will soon show in another tutorial on Funkyhome.de when we get some requests.
