Price of automatic garden watering …
To get a small cost overview in advance, we would like to finally show an approximate cost breakdown for a garden irrigation including pond watering by means of a total of three solenoid valves:
– Gardena valve box V3 approx. 50€.

Garden watering total cost …
So, all in all, we come to a total cost of about 400 Euro for the irrigation system, approximately. If one gets along instead of the three solenoid valves with only two solenoid valves, one comes with the same sink nozzle number altogether with approx. 350 Euro, whereby then also still the power supply unit could be dimensioned somewhat smaller and one can also still save costs there. And as a very simple solution with only one water circuit, you could even fall back on a 1 valve box and is with the same number of retractable nozzles in total at clearly less than 300 Euro.

That’s it for now with the planning and the cost breakdown, which will of course vary depending on the garden. In the second part, we will then solder the switch actuator together, pack everything extremely carefully against water penetration, install the solenoid valves in the Gardena valve box, show how to connect the Gardena valve box, lay the PE pipes, install the Quick&Easy pipe connectors and mounting units, install the recessed nozzle housing and spray nozzles, adjust the spray nozzles, install the pond irrigation system, drill a hole in a lava block, program the automatic irrigation control system and then set it up to control the irrigation system via smartphone or tablet in the smart home.
