Netatmo Smart Thermostat Review

Netatmo Thermostat Layout, design and features …

The room thermostat looks relatively simple and elegant. By the way, the design comes from Philippe Starck.

An e-Ink display in the center shows the SET temperature, ACTUAL temperature, and any status or error messages once the three included AAA batteries are inserted.

E-paper displays are extremely economical, as they only need power for a short time to change the display, and are easily readable even in direct sunlight. Unfortunately, however, there is no display illumination on the Netatmo thermostat.

The subtle orange edge results from a sticker attached to the back in the transparent plexiglass cube. Other colourns are included in the scope of delivery.

It should be positively emphasized that there is no subscription model. That is, all functions are fully usable without additional costs. In addition, the Netatmo Smart Thermostat is compatible with Amazon Alexa, Apple Homekit (Siri), Google Assistant (OK Google) and Legrand Valena with Netatmo.

To change the temperature setting, a button element is integrated in the Netatmo Smart Thermostat.

In addition, the Auto-Adapt function provides adaptation to the outdoor temperature and the insulation of the building. The Auto-Care function informs in case of empty batteries or problems with the heating system operation.
