Result and general impression …
With the DJI Power 1000, you get a quiet, portable power station that can be modularly expanded to suit your needs.
However, the DJI Power 1000 is not only pleasantly quiet during the charging process, but can also be heard at low to medium loads. Only at full load does the power station become clearly audible and is then at the level of conventional power stations.
The very high power reserves, which are not exhausted even with 2200 watts of continuous output power, are also impressive.
With the purchase of the DJI Power 1000 Powerstation, you initially receive basic functions such as output via two 230 volt sockets as well as two USB-A and two USB-C charging options. If you want to connect solar modules, charge your camper or another vehicle or control the system via the app, you can order the corresponding SDC modules and expand your Powerstation according to your own wishes.
The DJI Power Dongle is available for around 25 Euro at the time of testing and is a useful addition to establish a Bluetooth and/or WiFi connection with the Powerstation and to make settings via the DJI Home app. With the DJI Power SDC for car charging plug, 12V devices can be easily connected to the Power 1000 and can be ordered for approx. 22 Euro. The DJI Power car socket to SDC power cable can be ordered for approx. 49 Euro and enables slow charging via the camper or another vehicle with a 12/24V on-board socket. Furthermore, thanks to the XT60, it allows the connection of a mobile solar panel such as the foldable Zignes 120 W. And if you want to charge your vehicle faster, you can purchase the DJI Power 1 kW Auto Super fast charger for around 269 Euro, for example, which allows you to expand the capacity of your car battery. However, you should find out whether it is suitable for your vehicle and what needs to be taken into account before installing it. There are also plenty of other adapters, such as quick-charging cables for various DJI drones. The two SDC Connection can therefore definitely be put to good use. And even when used in the mobile DJI Power 1000 storage case for around 99 Euro, you can access all sockets and operate them thanks to the side vents.
